Cory Watson Is No Longer Taking These Cases
Women are more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer than any other form of cancer. And when patients undergo chemotherapy while fighting the disease, they are often given Taxotere®, an injectable drug. While most patients are told to expect temporary hair loss during their treatment, some cancer survivors who were treated with Taxotere experience a side effect they weren’t warned about—permanent significant hair loss (alopecia).
If you or someone you love underwent chemotherapy treatment and suffered permanent hair loss, Cory Watson Attorneys wants to talk to you. We know you weren’t expecting permanent hair loss from the drugs you were given, and we’re ready to hold the drug company accountable for their negligence if they caused your alopecia.

Taxotere® May Put Women at Risk of Permanent Alopecia
When patients undergo chemotherapy, they’re told to expect temporary hair loss in addition to a host of other physical symptoms caused by cancer drugs. In most cases, patients’ hair regrows 3-6 months after chemotherapy ends. But more and more female cancer survivors are reporting permanent hair loss.
A study published in Annals of Oncology examined 20 female breast cancer patients and linked taxane chemotherapy drugs, including Taxotere, to severe and permanent female hair loss. Mineral deficiencies, which can lead to hair loss, were ruled out among women in the research pool, and excessive androgen (a documented cause of female alopecia) was also excluded as a potential cause.
